LowCo Tiki FAQ

White Earth
  • How many people can we bring on the boat?
Private groups and shared tours are limited to a MAXIMUM of six (6) passengers excluding captain and crew. Although we would love to accommodate a larger group, US Coast Guard regulations currently limit our paid tours to six (6) guests. Please don't ask if you can bring additional passengers aboard when booking or at embarkation. Thank you for your understanding. We may offer larger passenger maximum sometime in the near future.
  • Where do I get on the boat?
Our tiki is docked at the Safe Harbor Port Royal Marina. Address is 1 Port Royal Landing Dr, Port Royal, SC.
  • Should we tip the captain?
Gratuity is not included in your tour price and is customary in our industry. The captain/crew work very hard to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable time. Tips are always appreciated based on your experience with us.
  • What if it rains?
LowCo Tiki operates rain or shine. The captain reserves the right to suspend or cancel a cruise at any time due to weather (we typically will cancel for high winds and thunderstorms). If LowCo Tiki cancels the tour due to weather, you will be issued a full refund.
  • What time should I arrive?
15 minutes before your scheduled departure time, as we will need to load your belongings and beverages onto the boat. If you are late in arriving, it will cut into the length of your cruise.
  • Can we bring our own food and drink?
Yes, you may bring your own drinks, food, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. We have a large cooler with ice onboard, but you are welcome to bring your own personal cooler, if you’d like. Please drink responsibly.
  • Are children allowed?
Yes, absolutely! We love well behaved kids. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. You can bring your own USCG approved life jacket or use one of ours.
  • Do you provide food or drinks?
We can arrange catered snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic) as part of your cruise at an additional cost. Contact us directly for any special requests (see Contact Page).
  • Can I play music on my own?
Oh yeah! We encourage it and can’t wait to jam out to your playlist!
  • Are there bathrooms onboard?
No, there is no bathroom on the boat. We highly recommend using the facilities on land before your board the boat. There are restrooms at the marina that can be used before and/or after the excursion.
